Inside Job: The Financial Crisis Documentary Every Lizard Should See
I just got back from a film festival showing of “Inside Job” - a masterpiece documentary about the recent financial crisis and the top choice at Cannes. This is not a partisan film at all. It is a damning indictment of several players and the warped incentive systems that plunged us into the deepest recession since the 1930s. No administration is spared here, ranging from Reagan’s to Obama’s. With crapy loans, complex derivatives, greedy CEOs, professors with conflicts of interest, and even a Madam from Wall Street, how can the director possibly go wrong?
